Data Export Packs
Send the matching section with email 2 or 4. The merchant exports in their own system, we never need logins. Menu names can drift between versions, so if a merchant gets stuck, a screenshot of their screen sorts it in one reply.
Lightspeed Retail X Series (Vend)
Products
- Log in to Lightspeed and go to Catalog, then Products
- Click Export List (top right). Choose CSV if asked
- The file downloads with all products, variants, prices and stock included
Customers
- Go to Customers
- Click Export Customers (top right), CSV format
Send both files back by reply. Around 10 minutes all up.
Lightspeed Retail R Series
Products
- Log in and go to Inventory, then Item Search
- Leave the search blank so every item shows, then click Export
- Choose all columns if prompted, the file downloads as CSV
Customers
- Go to Customers, then Customer Search
- Blank search, then Export
Square
Products
- Log in to Square Dashboard and go to Items and orders, then Items
- Click Actions, then Export Library
- Choose CSV, the file includes items, variations, SKUs and prices
Customers
- Go to Customers, then Directory
- Click the export icon and choose Export Customers, CSV
MyPOS

Could you export your full product list and customer list from MyPOS as CSV or Excel files? If the export option is not obvious in your admin, MyPOS support can point you to it, or send us a screenshot of your reports or products screen and we will find it together.
Once the first file lands, this section gets the proper steps and the migration tool gets a MyPOS source profile.
Every pack carries the same two promises to the merchant: they export it themselves in about ten minutes, and we never need access to their old system.
